there's this hairdresser's sitting at the corner. ok its not really a corner but thats just an expression. its small and almost cramped. and they have high technology. perms and alien helmets and whatnot. but what's really special is the hairdressers. there's the Lady Boss. she can go on and on about things, and these are things you dont remember a minute later. she's chatty. so i sit down and wait patiently. i read two Herworlds twice over, back to front, centre to outside. including the lipstick ads. now i understand why barber shops have these magazines. but thats not to say it was a torturous wait.

because while i waited i listened to the Lady Boss talk. she gives all sorts of information, like dating advice, like how spiky hair is for the girls to see and the high slope is for the teachers. and once in a while something profound like "when you talk, you must speak from the heart". there is this other young hairdresser who is in hot demand. almost every guy seems to ask for her to cut their hair. i guess she's the Special hairdresser. and the third hairdresser, who eventually cut my hair, was the one with the Perpetual frown. but word has it she is actually more talkative when Lady Boss isin't around. and i will hear customers request for 20 requirements in their hairstyle but i notice that they dont have much hair to begin with. and after some wait i got my haircut. and that's The Story of the Small Hairdresser's.

why is there a 1 dollar surcharge on sundays!!!
